How AbSo Works: Bid to Your Door | AbSo
Joshua Frederico · April 28, 2026 · 4 min read
AbSo picks up your auction wins from partner warehouses and delivers them to your door the same day, typically within hours of booking. Here’s exactly how the process works from start to finish.
The Problem Nobody Talks About
You found a great deal on BidFTA. You won the bid. You’re excited. Then reality hits: the auction house is 30 minutes away, the item is too big for your car, and pickup closes at 4 PM. Now you’re scrambling to find a truck, rearrange your schedule, and make a trip that eats up half your day.
This is the part of the auction economy that nobody advertises. Winning is the easy part. Getting your stuff home is where it falls apart.
The Three-Step Process
AbSo strips the logistics down to three steps.
Step 1: Win Your Auction
Bid and win at any AbSo partner auction house. BidFTA, MAC.BID, and our growing list of partners all work the same way. Win your item, get your confirmation, and you’re ready to book.
Step 2: Book Your Delivery
Open AbSo and enter your pickup details: which auction house, what you won, and where you want it delivered. Then pick a delivery window that works for you:
- $25 scheduled delivery: Same-day service with an AM or PM window (or $20 for Anytime, no set window).
- +$15 multi-stop, same market: One flat fee to consolidate extra stops — not per stop.
- +$25 per oversized item: Anything that needs two people or a truck bed.
That’s it. No forms to fax. No phone calls. No waiting on hold.
Step 3: We Deliver
An AbSo driver picks up your items from the auction house warehouse. They take photos of your items at pickup to document condition. Then they drive it to your door.
You’ll get notified when your items are picked up and again when they’re delivered. When the driver arrives, they’ll unload your items and take a final photo for delivery confirmation.
What Happens Behind the Scenes
When you book a delivery, AbSo’s system matches your pickup with an available driver in the area. Drivers are vetted, background-checked, and equipped with vehicles appropriate for auction items.
At the warehouse, our drivers use AbSo’s Green Lane Protocol — a coordinated pickup system that keeps warehouse lines moving and reduces wait times for everyone. Drivers check in through the app, confirm item details, and document everything with photos before leaving the lot.
Delivery Windows
AbSo operates during auction house pickup hours, which typically run from morning through late afternoon. When you book, you’ll see available windows based on the auction house’s schedule and current driver availability.
Most deliveries complete within 2-4 hours of booking. If you’re booking for a future pickup date, you can schedule it in advance.
What We Deliver
If you can win it at auction, we can deliver it. Common items include:
- Furniture (couches, tables, chairs, bed frames)
- Electronics and appliances
- Pallets of mixed merchandise
- Tires and auto parts
- Home goods and decor
Items are transported with care. Drivers use blankets, straps, and proper loading techniques. Every delivery is covered by our carrier insurance policy.
Delivery Notifications and Photo Documentation
You’ll receive notifications at the two moments that matter: when your Lot is picked up and when it’s delivered.
Photos are taken at two points: at the warehouse during pickup and at your door during delivery. This creates a documented chain of custody. If anything is damaged, you have the evidence to file a claim within 48 hours.
