Earn Money Delivering Auction Wins | AbSo Drivers

Joshua Frederico · April 25, 2026 · 4 min read

drivers earnings

AbSo drivers earn competitive pay delivering auction items from partner warehouses to Winners’ homes, with flexible scheduling and no long-haul routes. If you have a truck, van, or SUV and want to earn on your own terms, here’s what the job looks like.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

AbSo drivers pick up items from auction house warehouses and deliver them to Winners within the same metro area. A typical delivery run looks like this:

  1. You receive a delivery request through the AbSo driver app.
  2. You drive to the auction house warehouse and check in through the app.
  3. Warehouse staff helps you load the items. You take photos to document condition.
  4. You drive to the Winner’s address and unload.
  5. You take delivery photos and mark the job complete.

Most runs are 30-60 minutes from start to finish. Items range from small boxes to furniture and pallets. You won’t be hauling freight across state lines or sitting in a cab for 10 hours. These are local, same-day deliveries with clear start and end points.

How Much You’ll Earn

AbSo driver pay breaks down like this:

  • Base pay: a flat amount per completed delivery
  • Completion bonus: an added bonus on every delivery
  • Tips: Winners tip through the app after delivery

You earn a guaranteed amount per delivery before tips, and with tips on top your hourly earnings scale with delivery density and route efficiency. During peak periods — like the day after a big auction closes — earnings push toward the higher end. Specific rates for your market are shared during onboarding.

Pay is deposited weekly. No chasing invoices. No net-30 terms.

The Schedule Is Yours

AbSo doesn’t assign shifts. You set your availability in the app and accept deliveries that fit your schedule. Want to drive mornings only? Fine. Want to do a few runs on Saturday afternoons? That works too.

Delivery volume follows auction house schedules, so the busiest periods are typically mid-morning through late afternoon on pickup days. If you want to maximize earnings, those are the hours to be available. But nobody’s penalizing you for taking a Tuesday off.

Vehicle Requirements

You need a vehicle that can handle auction items. Here’s what qualifies:

  • Pickup truck (any size)
  • Cargo van or full-size van
  • SUV with fold-flat rear seats (for smaller items)

Your vehicle needs to be registered, insured, and in safe operating condition. We don’t require a specific make, model, or year — just something that can reliably transport items without damage.

If you have moving blankets, tie-down straps, or a hand dolly, those are useful but not required to get started. AbSo provides basic loading guidelines and best practices during onboarding.

Background Check and Onboarding

Every AbSo driver goes through a background check before their first delivery. Here’s the process:

  1. Apply online. Fill out the driver application at abso.auction/drivers.
  2. Background check. We run a standard background and driving record check. This typically completes within 2-3 business days.
  3. Onboarding. Once approved, you’ll complete a short onboarding in the app covering pickup procedures, photo documentation, and the Green Lane Protocol.
  4. Start driving. Set your availability and accept your first delivery.

The whole process from application to first delivery usually takes less than a week.

What Makes AbSo Different From Other Gig Work

A few things stand out:

Interesting cargo. You’re delivering auction wins — furniture, electronics, tools, collectibles. Every run is different. You’ll never deliver 47 identical boxes of meal kits.

Respectful pay. The base plus bonus structure means every delivery pays a fair guaranteed amount before tips — you’re not banking on a tip to make a run worthwhile.

Local routes. Every delivery is within your metro area. No highway marathons. No overnight stays. You start and end your day at home.

Clear expectations. Pick up the item. Document it. Deliver it. The app walks you through every step. There’s no ambiguity about what’s expected.
